Some schools go years and never get honored by the State Newspaper as having the best athlete in South Carolina. But, Dreher is on track to win it twice in a row, with back to back honors being given to our Boy's Varsity Baseball team. 

Last week, senior and pitcher Nolan Cook was honored following 

a game against Gilbert where he struck out 16 players and allowed only one run on two hits in a complete-game victory. 

This week, our junior and short stop, Jack Painter, is well on the way to win again for Dreher. This time for an awesome two game batting streak.

"I went 4 for 5 with 6 rbis across two games, and got a homerun. I’m not sure why it happened for those two games, but I just played really well and was in the zone."
